Ukraine’s Zelenskyy thank you new British PM Starmer on wartime beef up


KYIV: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked new British High Minister Keir Starmer on Friday (Jul 5) for assurances that Britain would deal with its beef up for Kyiv in its warfare in opposition to Russia.

Zelenskyy, writing at the Telegram messaging app, mentioned he had spoken to Starmer through phone and wanted him “good fortune in pleasing the expectancies of the British folks”.

“I’m thankful to Keir Starmer for his assurances that Britain’s beef up for Ukraine will stay unchanged in concept,” Zelenskyy wrote.

He and Starmer, he mentioned, had “coordinated our positions” forward of subsequent week’s NATO summit at which Ukraine hopes to listen to of imaginable steps for Kyiv to protected club of the Alliance.

Zelenskyy mentioned he seemed ahead to beginning arrangements for a long-term settlement between their two nations.
